Network

The Network page (Manage your resellers and sub-dealers) shows how your dealership sits in the GTEEX channel hierarchy. Distributor admins use it to oversee child accounts, territory coverage, and stock movement. Reseller and Sub-dealer accounts do not see Network in the sidebar — your parent Distributor manages the map.

Who uses it#

Dealership admins at Distributor tier. Technicians and parts staff interact with network effects through Transfer History on Drone Detail, not this page.

Parent distributor#

Reseller and Sub-dealer records include a parent dealership in the data model. The parent:

• Provisions territory and sub-dealer accounts.
• Pushes stock via Distribution transfers.
• Receives escalations and warranty visibility per contract.

You cannot edit the parent link in self-service — GTEEX or the parent sets it during onboarding. Note your parent name for OEM escalations from Support Tickets.

Sibling dealers#

Siblings share the same parent (for example, two Reseller branches under one Distributor). The Network list (and territory map when enabled) shows:

• Active Reseller and Sub-dealer accounts in your channel.
• Territory overlap so you avoid duplicate sub-dealer coverage.
• Status indicators for coordination — not customer accounts.

Territory map#

The map visualizes subdivisions assigned to your Distributor contract (country and region rules from the dealership record). Use it to:

• Confirm a sub-dealer's coverage before Distribution transfers.
• Align No-Fly Zones with geographic responsibility.

Territory edits are admin-level; changing ISO regions affects spatial queries for NFZ and reporting automatically.

Transfer drones inside the network#

Stock moves through Transfer drone, not ad-hoc edits:

   Open the drone

   Drones → Drone Detail → Transfer History → Transfer, or Edit Drone → Transfer ownership.

   Choose transfer type

   Distribution (parent to child), Dealer sale (between dealerships), Customer sale (to farmer account), RMA return (revert one hop), or Manufacturing (factory entry).

   Pick destination

   Destination account — Search by name or fiscal document... Current owner is excluded.

   Submit

   Transfer — success updates history with From, To, Performed by, Date.
